【中文】莫高窟第148窟还有多种经变画，如主室东壁的“药师经变”和“观无量寿经变”、南、北壁的“弥勒经变”及文殊、普贤菩萨像等，均为莫高窟各同类题材中尺寸最大者。第148窟的各经变画内容丰富、绘制精细，所描绘的建筑构图复杂，背景山水透视关系处理技巧成熟，敷色浓丽，具有重要的历史、艺术、宗教价值。
【英文】Mogao Cave 148 also has many other sutra transformation paintings in the cave, such as the “Medicine Buddha Sutra” and “Amitayurdhyana Sutra” transformations on the east wall of the main chamber, the “Maitreya Sutra” and portraits of Manjusri Bodhisattva and Samantabhadra Bodhisattva on the south and north walls. All of them are the largest scales among Dunhuang murals of the same themes. The paintings in Cave 148 feature rich contents, exquisite technique, and complex architectural compositions. The relative perspective of the background landscapes was treated with masterful skill and gorgeous colors. They boast important historical, artistic, and religious values.
